Medical Virology Analysis Laboratory

Overview: The Medical Analysis Center is one of three centers within the Virology Department. It is dedicated to medical biology activities.

Prestations : Activities are distributed across three workstations:

Workstation 1 for viral serology, such as HDV serology and sample reception.
Workstation 2 for genotyping: HCV genotyping, HIV ARV resistance testing, and hepatitis delta viral load.
Workstation 3 (or Abbott) for HBV, HCV, and HIV viral load testing, and HR HPV diagnosis.

The laboratory subcontracts certain specialized analyses to the CERBA laboratory. These are HSV PCR, HTLV PCR, CMV PCR and it has been accredited since November 2019 for HBV and HCV viral loads
