Presentation : The hematology laboratory at the Pasteur Center of Cameroon is a department dedicated to exploring the parameters that make up blood, as well as studying its coagulation capacity and immunological functions.

Services: The analyses performed include complete blood counts with analysis of different cell populations to detect hematological malignancies.

Prestations :

• Hemostasis as part of preoperative assessments or thrombophilia assessments.
• Immunohematology for the diagnosis of alloimmune or autoimmune hemolytic anemias and pre- and postoperative assessments.
• Screening for blood parasites, such as the detection of the agent of malaria and filariasis.

These analyses are performed using high-end equipment that allows us to quickly diagnose blood diseases and provide a definitive and rapid diagnosis for patient care. These analyses are carried out in compliance with international standards through daily quality control checks and equipment maintenance.
