As part of the activities marking the celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, the staff of the Pasteur Center of Cameroon took part, on March 5, 2026, in a cultural day under the sign of sharing and diversity.
For the occasion, the employees were invited to wear traditional outfits, thus offering a genuine cultural journey through the different regions of Cameroon.
One could admire Kaba Ngondo, Sandja, and Toghu from the North-West, not to forget the famous Ndôp of the Grassfields and the legendary Obôm of the Ekang-Beti peoples.
Gastronomy was not left out. Participants were able to savor a rich array of dishes from Cameroonian regions: Ndolè, fufu accompanied by Mbol, Kondrè, Mbongo Tchobi; Lâlo with cassava couscous, and many other specialties prepared with passion by the women working at Pasteur Center of Cameroon.
The day was opened by the Director General, who welcomed this initiative that has become an eagerly awaited annual event, and did not fail to once again appreciate these authentic flavors of Cameroon.
Beyond the colors and flavors, this activity was above all a moment of communion among colleagues, illustrating the richness of our diversity and the strength of living together within the institution.
At the Pasteur Center of Cameroon, the promotion of women and the enhancement of cultures fully contribute to strengthening social cohesion, an essential condition for building a work environment conducive to the flourishing of everyone and the sustainable development of our institution.
