International Labour Day
Social dialogue revived at the Centre Pasteur du Cameroun
The celebration of the 139th International Labour Day gave staff the opportunity to present some of their demands to top management.
The staff of the Centre Pasteur du Cameroun celebrated the 139th International Labour Day in a ceremony rich in local sounds. After the big parade on the boulevard du 20 mai marking the first joint of the day, the staff met at Messa headquarters.
On this occasion, Dr Suzanne BELINGA, Deputy Managing Director representing the Managing Director, presented letters of congratulations to six employees who have made a positive contribution to achieving the CPC’s objectives for 2024.
The staff delegates’ comments on the occasion included the expectation that a mutual insurance company would be set up to continue implementing social dialogue. In response, Dr Suzanne Belinga invited staff to take a moment of introspection about their personal involvement in achieving the organisation’s objectives, while indicating that the demands put forward would be resolved in a concerted manner.
