On July 2, 2025, the Cameroon Pasteur Center (CPC) had the pleasure of welcoming Ms. Muriel PIQUET-VIAUX, Counselor for Cooperation and Cultural Action at the French Embassy in Cameroon. Welcomed by the Director General, Dr. Mirdad Kazanji, the Counselor toured several CPC facilities, including:

• the patient reception room;
• the Open Space bringing together the serology, hematology and biochemistry laboratories;
• containment laboratories (P2+ and P3);
• the ecological crusher room;
• as well as genetic sequencing and medical entomology platforms.
  These platforms play a central role in biomedical research in Cameroon and benefit from the support of French Cooperation.
  This cooperation is also demonstrated through the funding of research grants for numerous CPC researchers and students.
