The Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC) and the Cotton Development Company of Cameroon (SODECOTON) officially strengthen their collaboration through the signing of a partnership agreement.

Signed on February 16, 2026 at the Pasteur Center in Cameroon, the agreement was sealed by the general directors of the two institutions, Dr. Mirdad KAZANJI for the CPC and Mohamadou BAYERO for SODECOTON, thus marking a new stage in a years-long cooperation between these two public entities.

The CPC will support SODECOTON in several health and environmental areas. This will include medical analyses, vaccination campaigns for staff, as well as physicochemical and microbiological analyses related to hygiene and the environment. These services will cover, among other things, the monitoring of water (clean or wastewater), food consumption, surfaces, contact points, and air quality. The partnership also includes technical support, training, and advisory audits for the benefit of SODECOTON’s teams.

Presenting the company he is in charge of, Mohamadou BAYERO highlighted SODECOTON’s commitment to adhering to strict sanitary and regulatory standards, as well as its determination to maintain the ISO 9001:2015 certification obtained by the company a few years ago.
For his part, the Director General of the CPC, Dr. Mirdad KAZANJI, expressed his gratitude for the renewed trust placed in his institution.

He highlighted the recognized expertise of the CPC and the professionalism of its teams, who work in strict compliance with standards and quality requirements. The Microbiology section of the CPC’s Hygiene and Environment Laboratory is accredited to the ISO IEC 17025 standard for water and food analysis.
