The Board of Directors of the Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC) held its 91st ordinary session on December 18, 2025, in the institution’s conference room. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Sinata Koulla Shiro, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

This session was part of the monitoring of governance and strategic planning of the activities of the Pasteur Center of Cameroon.

During the proceedings, Dr. Mirdad Kazanji, Director General of the CPC, assisted by Dr. Suzanne Belinga, Deputy Director General, presented the main items on the agenda. The discussions focused primarily on the budget documents for the 2026 fiscal year, including:

the 2026 budget proposal;
the annual performance projects;
the annual recruitment plan for the coming year.

The board members carefully reviewed these documents in a spirit of consultation and continuous improvement of the institution’s performance.

At the end of the deliberations, the Board of Directors approved the budget of the Pasteur Center of Cameroon for the 2026 fiscal year, balanced at the amount of 6,563,474,053 FCFA. This budget reflects the CPC’s commitment to strengthening its research, diagnostic, public health, and training missions, while ensuring rigorous and sustainable management of its resources.

The Board of Directors also praised the efforts made by the General Management and encouraged it to continue the initiatives undertaken to promote the development and visibility of the activities of the Pasteur Center of Cameroon, both nationally and internationally.
