International Women's Day 2020: CPC's Ladies equipped to manufacture household products

The manufacturing process for vinegar, household soap, paint stripper, bleach, and more is no longer a myth for these Pasteuriennes.

These Pasteuriennes proudly pose in front of the household products they have just produced themselves. Something that was still impossible for almost all of them just a few days earlier. This shows that the fundamentals of the training they attended this Friday, March 7, 2025, as part of the activities marking International Women’s Day at the CPC, have been well understood.

Vinegar, household soap, paint stripper, bleach, and liquid detergent are just a few of the household products for which they have now mastered the production processes.
According to the day’s trainer, these local products are highly prized in Cameroonian households. The labor force involved in production is predominantly women and from all strata of society, allowing for easy access to financial independence.
