JERSIC 2025: The Center Pasteur of Cameroon is positioning itself for excellence and innovation in the service of Public Health. – Pasteur Center of Cameroon

The Cameroon Pasteur Center (CPC) is actively participating in the 9th edition of the Cameroon Days of Excellence in Scientific Research and Innovation (JERSIC), which will be held from July 15 to 17, 2025, at Yaoundé City Hall.
In addition to promoting its other missions (medical testing, vaccination, training), the focus is on research and public health.
Innovations presented include:
3D printers,
AI-powered malaria diagnosis using smartphones,
Samples of work on:

Climate change-related pathologies,
Smart surveillance of mosquito-borne viruses,
Community health monitoring through wastewater analysis,
Pediatric HIV infection, among others.
The visit of the Minister of Scientific Research and Innovation, Dr. Madeleine Tchuente, was a highlight. She was able to appreciate the concrete contributions of the CPC teams to public health in Cameroon.
Alongside his teams, Dr. Mirdad Kazanji, Director General of the CPC, praised their commitment and encouraged them to continue their efforts in the service of science and innovation.
