The elections of staff representatives were recently held throughout the Cameroonian territory, in accordance with the decree of the Minister of Labor and Social Security, issued in application of the current legal and regulatory provisions.
At the Pasteur Center of Cameroon, this election was marked by significant participation, with a rate exceeding 56%, reflecting the staff’s interest in issues of representation and social dialogue within the institution.
Following the vote, the list led by Mr. Yannick Kamdem, Laboratory Technician, was elected to represent the staff. This new team will have the mission of relaying the concerns of the employees and contributing to the maintenance of constructive social dialogue.
The staff expressed several expectations, including the continuation of open and responsible dialogue with Management, as well as better representation within decision-making bodies.
The General Management of the Pasteur Center of Cameroon congratulates the newly elected delegates and reaffirms its willingness to work closely with them. This commitment is part of an approach based on consultation, shared responsibility, and the strengthening of the social climate, in the service of the institution’s overall performance.
The official assumption of duties by the new staff delegate team is scheduled for February 1, 2026.
