Executives from the administration of the Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC), led by the Acting Administrative and Financial Director, Mr. Thiery NONGA, are taking part this Thursday, January 22, 2026, in a training seminar dedicated to the 2026 Finance Law of the Republic of Cameroon, promulgated by the Head of State, His Excellency Paul Biya. The event is being held in the Bouma B room of the Hilton Hotel in Yaoundé.

Organized and conducted by the firm Forvis Mazars Tax & Legal, in collaboration with representatives of the Cameroonian Tax Administration, this seminar aims to analyze the main innovations introduced by the 2026 finance law, as well as their impact on businesses and institutions, compared to the 2025 fiscal year.

The discussions focus in particular on:

• improving the business climate and strengthening economic attractiveness;
• broadening the tax base and adapting to new forms of activity;
• securing revenues and reinforcing tax governance;
• combating tax fraud and evasion, as well as tax control;
• socio-economic support and environmental protection.

Under the theme “Finance Act 2026 and the risk of inflation: understanding and deciphering the issues for taxpayers,” this meeting provides participants with the tools needed for better anticipation of the fiscal and financial implications in institutional management.
