On Friday, May 22, 2026, the  Centre Pasteur of Cameroon welcomed a delegation from the Health and Social Center of the Douala Autonomous Port (PAD), led by Dr. Jean Mekot, who is in charge of occupational health for PAD staff.

This visit, aimed at exchanging ideas and learning, was intended to get inspiration from CPC’s expertise and best practices in patient care and lab management.

During a productive work session and a guided tour with the teams from the Medical Department, Quality Service, and Marketing and Communication Service, the visitors learned about several key aspects of how the CPC operates, including:
– welcoming and guiding patients;
– sample collection and management;
– the quality management system;
– the organization and operation of the laboratories;
– biomedical waste management.

This meeting highlights the Centre Pasteur of Cameroon commitment to sharing its expertise and strengthening collaboration with stakeholders involved in improving healthcare in Cameroon.
