Call for Applications for 2 Reception-Collector Agents at CPC

The Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC) is recruiting, due to service needs, two (02) Reception-Collector Agents for the Reception Service, Medical Department.

Position: Receptionist-Sample Collector
Status: Category 7/A, full-time, two (02) year fixed-term contract, including a 3-month probation period.

Location: Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC), Yaoundé.
Work Environment: The Pasteur Center of Cameroon receives nearly 50 patients per day for medical tests and vaccine administration. Samples are collected according to the requirements of ISO 15189 standard.
Patient reception is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Main activities:
– Welcome, inform, and guide patients
– Deliver test results to patients
– Handle cash operations: payment processing, securing, and depositing funds to the main cashier
– Perform blood, uro-genital, and various other samples at the CPC or other external sites
– Receive external samples

Desired Profile: Assistant Nurse
– Master sampling techniques,
– Have a minimum of 12 months of professional experience in carrying out the above-listed activities (proof of service required),
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet use,
– Basic communication skills in English.

Required Qualities:
– Ability to work in a team and be very responsive, dynamic, meticulous, and rigorous in work,
– Good interpersonal skills, diplomacy and self-control, diligence, punctuality, and availability,
– Honesty, discretion, and rigor,
– Ability to work under pressure.

Complete application files (CV + cover letter + copy of diploma + photocopy of birth certificate) must be submitted to the Secretariat of the Director General of the Pasteur Center of Cameroon (Yaoundé), in a sealed envelope with the mention “Recruitment of Sampler” no later than January 29, 2026.
The selection of the candidate will first include a review of the application file, followed by a written and/or practical test, and finally an interview before a panel. Only pre-selected candidates will be called.
