Call for Applications for 01 Medical-Technical Agent for the Bacteriology-Parasitology-Mycology Service

The Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC) is recruiting, for service needs, one (01) Medical-Technical Agent for the Bacteriology-Parasitology-Mycology department, Medical Department.

Position: Medical-Technical Agent
Status: Category 7/A, full-time, fixed-term contract of two (02) years, including a 3-month probation period.
Location: Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC), Yaoundé.
Work environment: The Pasteur Center of Cameroon receives nearly 50 patients per day for medical tests and vaccine administration. Samples are taken in accordance with ISO 15189 standards.
Patient reception operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Main activities:
– Wash glassware,
– Prepare culture media,
– Transport samples to the laboratory,
– Inoculate samples,
– Perform blood, uro-genital, and various other sample collections at the CPC.

Profile sought: Medical-technical Technician
– Mastery of sampling techniques,
– Mastery of sterilization techniques,
– Mastery of culture media preparation techniques,
– Minimum of 2 years of professional experience,
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet usage,
– Internship in a bacteriology laboratory is an asset.

Required qualities:
– Ability to work in a team and be very responsive, dynamism, meticulousness, and rigor in work,
– Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy and self-control, diligence, punctuality, and availability,
– Honesty, discretion, and rigor.

Complete application files (CV + Cover Letter + Copy of diploma + photocopy of birth certificate) must be submitted to the Office of the Director General of the Pasteur Center of Cameroon (Yaoundé), in a sealed envelope with the mention “Recruitment ATMS_BACTERIO” no later than January 29, 2026.
The selection of the candidate will first include a review of the application file, followed by a written and/or practical test, and finally an interview before a panel. Only pre-selected candidates will be called.
